Bafana Bafana defender Siyanda Xulu has successfully undergone surgery following the injury he sustained during Sunday's friendly international match against Angola.
Xulu had to be stretchered off on the stroke of half-time during South Africa's 1-1 draw against Angola at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday after sustaining a shoulder injury and was immediately rushed to hospital in order to receive treatment.

The 30-year-old has since confirmed that he was required to undergo surgery in Nelspruit and that the operation was a success, although no time frame has yet been provided for his recover.
"Successful operation. I'll come back stronger," the former Mamelodi Sundowns and Maritzburg United centre-back posted on Instagram.
Xulu has won 18 caps for Bafana Bafana since making his senior debut back in 2012 and was making his first appearance for the national team since September after being recalled by head coach Hugo Broos.
