Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos has identified Orlando Pirates forward Evidence Makgopa as the one player he’s missing from this national team selection.
Bafana Bafana is set to lock horns with Mozambique and Angola towards the end of November as part of the national team’s preparation for the 2023 Afcon qualifiers.

Although Makgopa is yet to play a single game for the Buccaneers this season, having recently recovered from an injury that kept him on the sidelines for first the first two months of the season, the 22-year-old remains highly rated by the Belgian coach.
"For me, the one player we are missing is Evidence Makgopa," Broos said.
"I like him, he has different attributes to the other strikers."
Makgopa made a good early impression on the national team coach when he scored a brace on his Bafana Bafana debut in June last year, in a friendly against Uganda.
"He’s tall, can hold the ball, and shield defenders. Okay, he has a few things he can still work on but we don’t have a profile of a player like that and we need him," added Broos.
In Makgopa's absence, Broos has selected Zakhele Lepasa, Khanyisa Mayo, Fragie Lakay, Mihlali Mayambela, Lyle Foster, Themba Zwane and Kgaogelo Sekgota as his attacking options.
The players will report to the national team camp on 13 November, before Bafana Bafana takes on Mozambique on Thursday, 17 November, and then Angola on Sunday, 20 November.
